Dress for the price of a lunch (fast food)!

____

Damn you Old Navy! You did it again!
They are brilliant into luring you in the store!
Since I don't really have a lot of options of lunch break places in this awful area (Herald Square in NYC), what is left for me to do?
Go out and window shop!

In this case, I was not really going to buy anything, buuuuut...

They did have a special 30% everything... So...

I did get this:

It was originally almost $30...
With the 30% off, it came down to $20 aaand Lulu had a $10 reward from all my shopping!

So, summer dress for $10! TEN BUCKS!!!

How can you beat this????

Bring it on summer!!!!!!!!

Love it!!!!!

My Frida!

___

My new Frida Kahlo mirror!!!!

Walking in Soho, NYC, I did see this precious thing from an Mexican street seller:

I knew I HAD to have it.

And for 20 bucks, it was a steal.

I do love Frida, with an amazing sense of aesthetics, almost a Mexican Dali. A woman ahead of its time...

I do love her paintings. Especially this one:

Happy with my purchase!

Now the problem resides in where should I hang her?
My home's walls are completely taken...
A good problem to have I guess ;-)

Electric Blue Peplum Top by Express - for almost nothing!

_____

Look at this cuteness:

Cute, right? Loved the color and the grommet collar detail.

What I loved the most was: it cost me only $9.90!!!!

How so? Well, Express always has some sort of promotion coupon. I did get $15 off then used my e-rewards $25 gift card. Yes, I do answer a ton of customer researches online from e-rewards!
I highly recommend! You can get gift certificates and also lots of magazine subscriptions for a little bit of your time!

Will enjoy this top a lot in this summer!

Marc Jacobs Serendipity !

____

I really LOVE Marc Jacobs. I think that everything he does is cool, has a vintage appeal that is modern and classic at the same time.

A genius.

Well, yesterday I was just walking home and decided to take a look at what Crossroads Trading Co had. They did open a new temple of doom for my wallet (in addition to Buffalo Exchange) on my way home from work. Too bad. I could not resist entering there.

Usually they don't have a whole lot, but...

Took a look at the poor forlorn bags hanging over there and I do immediately spot the famous hardware!!! The zipper was shining and the turnlocks...

Could be only one bag: MARC BY MARC JACOBS !!!

Researching, I did discover that this beauty is "baptized" Marc by Marc Jacobs Benny Turnlock!

It was $398 originally and GUESS HOW MUCH I PAID?????

FORTY-TWO DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My blue got a bit faded the original (above), but it gives it more character and the leather is buttery soft!
Could NOT believe my luck!!!!

YAY!!!!

This precious thing for FORTY TWO BUCKS!!!!!

LOVE YOU MARC!!! Love you Crossroads Trading Co!!!!

AMAZING Stuff at Uniqlo!!!!

_____

God, I cannot go out and walk around my area during lunch!!! It is a curse and a blessing to work around Herald Square in Manhattan.

A curse because this area is a zoo = completely mobbed with ugly people... But a blessing, because all the major stores are here...

So, since spring is in full bloom, I did go out and decided to take a look at Uniqlo. Sometimes stuff there is super blah, but today!!!!

Got amazeball things for spring/summer and perhaps fall (with the appropriate tights!).

A dress from the Celia Birtwell collab:
 Super cute forties style....

Lulu trying it on (and LOVING it)

A cute Ancien Regime motif scarf. For less than 8 bucks. Really...

And another cute 2 in 1 dress:

Uniqlo not only has GREAT prices and cute stuff, but is also good for my ego: I am usually a medium, but their stuff is HUGE, so I did get everything in SMALL!!!

CUTENESS!!!

Just cannot wait for the weather to get really warm so I can wear all of them!!!!

Are Gladiator Sandals Still in Fashion?

------

Well, I think so...
This type of sandal has been on for sooooo slong that I wasn't really sure...

I did need a replacement for an old Aldo snake print gladiator I've bought years ago.

The poor thing is falling apart after so many summers and so much mileage (NY girls walk miles and miles every day)!

Did some internet research and did find this:

And guess what? For 35 bucks, it is a bargain!
Imagine how many Metrocards I will save with these ;-)
