These are a few things from my Brazilian childhood!!! Could not believe when I found those pictures on the Internetzzz:
Bala Soft - LOVED these things, but almost DIED a couple of times by swallowing it by accident. Thanks Mom for rescuing me!!!
I LOVED THESE CHOCOLATE CIGARRETTES. What a non-politically correct product! Inciting kids to smoke!!! LOL!
A Zebrinha do Fantastico - SHE WAS SOOOO ANNOYING!!!
Part of my list of "back to school crap"
I was such a tomboy... Loved to ride this with my sword and Zorro mask - can you believe it??? And I didn't turn out to be gay ! LOL
Had these when I came back from my first trip to the USA when I was kid. We bough one my size and another one one size bigger for when I would overgrow the first one...
Silvio Santos was everything on a Sunday... This program was the BEST
Pablo from Silvio Santos....Creepy and a half!! WHY on earth would he have this freak dub any song?
Pega varetas..
LOVED this lollipop. My fave was the "morango" one... The packaging is also so kitschy and simple...
Urso do Cabelo Duro cartoon
New Wave - SERIOUSLY = for my serious 80's hair
Grapette - I miss that grape taste...
Relogio Champion!!! GOD I loved how I could have like 10 watches in one...
Domingo no parque - LOVED this when I was a kid... Silvio Santos rules!
Chicletes - these tiny things where awesome = you would get a handful in your mouth. That tutti-frutti taste... hmmmm
Atari!! We smuggled this inside our dirty laundry in our luggage when we came back from the USA. Customs in Brazil were ruthless - still kinda are...
Mixed tapes or recording from the radio... Kids nowadays don't even know that those things existed! I really don't miss seeing those things unravel and get all screwed up in your cassette player...
caiu a ficha!!
Galak and Lollo - the taste of my infancy.
I loved Aquaplay... So simple, yet so entertaining
those mini-Cokes = you had to have them and collect all those caps to get those mini-bottles.
Gelecaaaa - I loved throwing this in the bathroom walls and see it crawl down...
I used to LOVE playing with this... this was WAY before computers, Illustrator, Photoshop...
This was a toy that, as the only child, was kinda useless - didnt have anyone who wanted to play with me...
Caloi!!! Can you believe that I though that Santa Claus brought this to me??? And I went to the store with my mom and didn't even notice she buying it...
MORE TO COME BRAZUCAS!!! Stay tuned...
