Dearly Departed... My Chanel Sandals were sold!!!
Some years ago, I was wandering alone in Soho during one of my summer Fridays.
Then did enter Chanel and saw that they had a sale and to my surprise, saw that these beautiful and classic sandals with the interlocking CCs were marked down to like $100! Affordable for Chanel, huh?
Didn't even think twice and bought them. Thought that they were meant to last forever, that I would have many seasons of happy fashionable walks...
Boy, I was mistaken... Sad, but suffering for fashion has its limits...
The sandals gave major blisters, the strap was too small for the tip of my feet and I really ended up almost dying if I had to walk more than 5 blocks.
So not practical...
Decided to sell and I am discovering that anything Chanel is like gold. Sells like crazy! And did sell it for slightly more than I paid, awesome, non?
Adieu darling, hope you give some happiness and hopefully not blisters to your new owner!!!

Dearly Departed: My Vintage Kate Spade Bag
Another item I've sold on the internet...Lulu's closet cleaning!
Since I have a hard time to let things go... it is great that I have this blog, because now I can just post pictures, send the bags and keep the memories... Without much of a clutter ;-)
This was a recent sale... A vintage Kate Spade bag I've bought years ago...
A vintage Kate Spade bag... I did buy it in a vintage store, used it very little and now hopefully it will be cherished by someone else... Bye friend... More dearly departed things to come!

Dearly Departed - Burberry Tote
Another installment of Dearly Departed... Another friend has been sold...
Bought this Burberry bag years and years ago...
Cute, but too small for the amount of stuff I carry. And another no-no for me: have to have my hands free at all times and this one is not a shoulder bag...
So... go on dear friend! Be happy with someone else! I will remember you with these shots...
Ciao!

Dearly Departed: Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag
************************************************************************************************
I do have a "mild" case of hoarding, and letting go is never easy... But when the clutter in my place is getting too much to handle, sometimes, some cleaning up is quite welcome...
So, as a conscientious hoarder, I can post my departed friends so I can remember them once in a while.
This one went away the same way it arrived to me... On Ebay!
It was well loved and much used...
But, as I've mentioned, not practical enough for me...
And since my hubby gave me a new one - which I am using like almost every day, this one had to go...
I hope she (yes, it's a she for me!) is happy in her new home...
I decided to create a section on my blog: it will be called Dearly Departed = things that I've sold on the internet!
