Just discovered that hot pink is the latest trend for winter... AGAIN. Well, those things come and go and come back.
I remember, back in the 80's that you absolutely HAD to have something in hot pink, or how we called in Brazil "Rosa Choque" or Shocking Pink!
I remember having a ton of hot pink outfits... Of course mixed with some other crazy 80's colors...
Oh well...
From The New York Times:
Take a look at the Equipment blouse (#6). This simple blouse costs more than 250 Euros... Hmmm a tad too much, non?
I had to join in... But in a "Look for Less" way ;-)
Old Navy had this amazing offering...
And this madness was originally $29 bucks, theeeeen reduced to approximately 11 bucks !!!!!
The fabric is awesome, the fit great and I intend to use it with all the buttons closed and a necklace under the collar... Delish !
Craycray!!!!

USA is the BEST Place to SHOP!!!!
Just came back from Sao Paulo, Brazil...
Geez, prices are crazy there!!!
Almost did not buy anything... Everything almost double or triple the price from here...
Thing is, almost everything here in the US is made in China... Brazil has crazy importation taxes... Soooo...
Just to compensate the fact that I did not buy almost anything in Brazil... Went out during lunch aaand...
Can you believe the beauty of these snake boots at Joe Fresh? They were originally $79, but... Can you imagine that they went down to NINETEEN DOLLARS????
And they are leather!!!!!!
I almost bought a skull scarf in Brazil... But it was expensive, around US$ 70...
Soooo, I did see another one at zara.com. Thing is, went to the store and... Voila... Bought a different one that I've originally wanted... But... SO CUTE. So Alexander McQueen!
Crazy bargains in the USA!!!!
Not soooo bad living here!!!
UPDATE!!!!!
Went to Joe Fresh AGAIN to snag a pair of those snake print booties and.... BOUGHT ANOTHER PAIR FOR ME. This time, classic black leather boots... Also for the exorbitant amount of NINETEEN BUCKS!!!!

Sao Paulo Shopping
__
It is crazy how expensive Sao Paulo, Brazil is becoming...
One thing (or two) that I absolutely need to buy when I go down there are the famous Havaianas!!!
In fact, I did buy one with the famous skulls (and a skull little Swarovski detail) and another one with an animal pattern!!!
Then I did find this beautiful dragon studded shirt for 80 Reais, or approximately 40 dollars...
Not bad, huh?

I usually go to Ebay every day to see what is going on, love to browse through designer handbags, shoes, etc...
I avoid buying anything unless is a crazy steal...

Love the browns, love everything...
AND I did love the price: paid less than 60 bucks with shipping!!!!
Yay! Looks real to me! What do you think? Also can someone tell me the name of this bag? I do have a Stella that I've bought years ago and I've literally loved it to death. It is looking pretty beat up. Now Stella has a little sister!!!
Happy!

Gorgeous Statement Necklace!
______
While browsing on Urban Outfitter's website, I was struck by this piece of art:
Literally art you can wear!
And the price was just RIGHT! Wink, wink to myself!
In love with this...
Of course I got home, showed this to my husband and he cried: "Gladiator". Nice buzzkill, honey! LOL!
Cannot wait to wear it! Maybe with my new cobalt blue shirt! Yay!

Another Buffalo Exchange Find: Marc by Marc Jacobs Wool Swing Jacket
_____
Well, Buffalo Exchange is becoming a true addiction for the little Lulu shopaholic...
Since it is conveniently located at a spot which I pass every day after work, I do pop in almost every day there.
Most of the times I do pick a couple of things, but end up getting nothing...
This time I did see something that really caught my eye in the madness that is Buffalo Exchange...
I did still have some credit from a previous sale and saw that this little Marc by Marc Jacobs number was only $36 bucks!
Hmmm, the collar is awesome and so are the buttons. The only thing that made me a little unsure were the puffy sleeves. I really don't think that this style of sleeves is still in fashion. I did have a couple like this years ago. I did see that this jacket was from like 5 years ago online.
But....
So cute I could not pass it up... What do you think? I am still on the fence...
But hey, it was just $36...
Hmmmmm

Christopher Plummer Autographs!!!!
___
OMG!
Had a major surprise yesterday!
Got home and received an envelope with my handwriting addressed to myself from....
Christopher Plummer!
You can read about my meeting with him here.
Well, a quick summary... Back in May, just before my Austrian trip, I was coming back home from work. Really not paying attention to anything when I just happen to see his very familiar face walking towards me!!!
I was soooo thrilled and just managed to utter: "Mr. Plummer, I am such a big fan!" and offer my hand. He said "Thank you" and shook my hand!
I did follow him and after a small banter, did ask him for a picture:
Then, spoke a few words with him, he was very gracious... Left him be and was super happy for having the chance to meet, speak, shake his hand and take a photo to prove it!
The only bummers were that I did not have anyone with me to take a picture of ME with him and also get an autograph.
The photo with me will probably not happen, but the AUTOGRAPHS!!!!
You gotta love the internet! Went on a major search and did find an awesome website with all the details to get his autograph!
Well, I did prepare everything as I was told: printed two copies of the photo I took of him, a gorgeous one from "The Sound of Music", wrote him a letter telling him to keep one of the shots I took, a self-addressed envelope and mailed everything on the week of May 21st, 2012.
Then I did go to Austria, did the awesome "The Sound of Music" tour in Salzburg, had a major blast!
And then waited, and waited!
Thought that maybe I would never get those autographs annnnnd:
On September 19th, like 4 months after....
TADAAAAAA!!!!!
Isn't that awesome? What a nice guy!
I sincerely thought that I may never receive them back signed!
He dedicated the photo I took of him to Luciana (me, me, me!!!!) and also signed the Captain Von Trapp too!!!! YAY
The nice touch was a post-it behind the photo thanking me for the second copy, which he kept!!! Probably it was written buy a secretary, but nice touch nevertheless!!!
And if you are a fan, go to this website with very valuable info and instructions on how to get your own autographed photo!
So happy! ;-)

Cutest Floral H&M Top
_____
Saw this beauty at hm.com...
LOVED IT!
Look at the price!!! I really don't want to know how they do it (well, actually I do suspect, but don't want to think about it!).
Went to the store during lunch and saw that the top actually looks way more expensive than it really was. Loved the floral details, the kind of peplum and the paint splashes amongst the flowers.
SNAGGED IT!
