"Heh", I've said, "I only use this thing to talk to people, why change if it is working?". For once, I was being put to shame when I saw that my doorman, even the supermarket cashier had a better phone than we did.
I've owned this purple
It was good while it lasted... It was really getting EMBARRASSING to put this purple baby on a tabletop...
Now we do own this sexy thing - highly addictive piece of machinery... Behold the Droid 2 Global (yes, now I can travel all over the universe with that cute thing):
Great feature not present in all smartphones: an actual physical keyboard:
Well, just hope we won't become total nerds and do like some idiots we saw on a restaurant some time ago: all 3 people were seated on a table having brunch and texting/web surfing at the same time.
That is a little bit too much, but the embarrassing fact is that both me and my hubby were both playing with the phone (it does get addictive) at the same time on the sofa in front of the tv many times. But this is in the privacy of our castle, so we can do whatever we want ok?
Another GREAT function of this phone is the amazing 5 megapixel camera!
Saw many a movie/rock star in Manhattan and had NO camera in my purse.
Once saw Cindi Lauper on Fifth Avenue and could not do anything! The camera on the old phone was so blurry that you could see that there was a blonde person on the picture, but nothing more...
Behold: took a picture of Catherine Zeta-Jones with my old phone camera:
Pretty crappy, no? And I could NOT zoom... The one from the Droid zooms! I am sooo excited!!!
Now this is corrected!
I am not a celebrity, but the picture looks waaay crisper than the ones from that purple old delight I used to have...
Now, please please let me see any other celeb and have the time to find my phone -> put the password in -> take said picture!!! All of this without dropping this baby on the floor (one of my biggest fears!).
Stay tuned!
Oh, there are SO many things you can do with this phone, maybe just talking could be overrated , huh?
A phone TO TALK? How last decade...
Cheers, talk and click!!!
