I simply ADORE strong women biographies. I always want to know how women lived in the past - we take so many things for granted today! This book could not be better: a very strong woman with an impeccable taste. Her designs are timeless - this is common knowledge, what not everyone knows is how complex she was, embellishing her very humble origins in order to adapt to a snobbish luxury clientele and, even having an affair with a minor Nazi during the war.
Simply don't want this book to end!
